Best Patio Hang's With Kids in NoCo

As the weather improves, we’re all looking to get outside with the kids more! We recently went to Palisade, CO for Spring Break and found the most amazing winery that had drinks and lots of room for the kids to roam- they honestly played for hours while I got to sip wine and enjoy a good conversation with friends – with less interruptions. It was awesome!
While NoCo may not have as many wineries, they have plenty of places for Adults to hang while the kids are playdate-ing nearby. Here’s my Top faves:

1.    FORT COLLINS: The Exchange- Sitting on the north edge of Old Town FoCo, The Exchange is perfect for a sunny day with a variety of places to eat and/or grab a drink! Whether you’re in the mood for tacos, burgers, Italian, Colombian food, or just ice cream, they’ve got you. It has a good vantage point for watching kids and making sure they don’t take off. It does get busy on the weekends, so make sure to get there for an earlier meal time to find a spot. https://www.theexchangefortcollins.com
2.    TIMNATH: Pedro’s Coffeeshop – Pedro’s is newer on the scene but an amazing location in Timnath where coffee shops are scarce. They have great coffee and snacks, with a wonderful back patio with firepits, green space, for the kids to run free and play a few games. If the kids get bored and want a change of scenery, the Wildwing Community Park is directly across the Street. https://pedroscoffeeshop.com https://timnath.org/wildwing-park/
3.    WINDSOR: Peculier Brewing Or Mash Lab – Both Breweries have a great patio and options for food! Peculier always has a food truck nearby, and Mash Lab has its own menu. https://peculierales.com/peculier-food-menu/ https://mashlabbrewing.com
4.    LOVELAND: Sweetheart Winery – Located in West Loveland, this is a great spot for families! Not a huge wine fan? Sweetheart also has Ciders on tap as well. They have flat breads and charcuterie, so if your kids are not keen on that, bring a snack to eat. Their expansive & lush green lawn is ideal for kids- BUT you’ll have to keep a closer eye on them as it is very large and they can wander off out of sight easily. Set your boundaries!  https://sweetheartwinery.com
5.    FORT COLLINS: Bindle Coffee – Bindle Jessup Farms is a great spot for walks, biking, or just hanging out in general. The patio is long and gives a good vantage point for parents to watch their kids while sipping on a latte. Bonus- they have a beautiful garden and large chicken coop around the backside of the Farmhouse at Jessup! Definitely save this one for when its warmest because there isn’t much indoor seating at Bindle Jessup. https://bindlecoffee.com
6.    FORT COLLINS: New Belgium or Odell Brewery – You can’t go wrong with either of these spots if you like to grab a beer. I’d say New Belgium has the best green space and a few outdoor games. Odell’s Winery Section Shines as a great option for the GF bunch out there. People do bring their dogs a lot more to these locations! https://www.newbelgium.com/visit/fort-collins/ https://www.odellbrewing.com/locations/fort-collins/
As we head into Spring and Summer, there are plenty of places to check out that may give you a few moments of uninterrupted (or less interrupted) chat time with a friend. Would you add any other spots to this list? Let me know!
