My favorite time of year in Colorado is the Fall. I love Football, Jeans and Sweaters, and that brisk morning temperature that is so fresh. As you may already know, I do my very best to keep you all ahead of the curve when it comes to what's coming up in the next couple of months. With many of the September Fall Festivals early that month, I figured I better put this on your radar now!

Here's What's comin' in hot for FALL FESTIVALS in NOCO:
1. Windsor Harvest Festival (Aug 30 – Sept 1, Windsor) i.e. Labor Day Weekend
Our region’s longest-running family bash! Expect a lively parade, booths, balloon floats, pie-eating contest, and loads of community spirit. Definitely don't miss the Hot Air Balloon Launch- this is amazing to watch and the kids love it. But be sure to get there early.. and we mean early early... 6.30am-8am for that portion! Can't get there that early? The rest of the festival is awesome too (and at a decent hour!) More info here: Windsor Harvest Festival 2025
2. Timnath Fall Festival (Sept 13, Timnath)
Definitely our Family's Favorite one. Timnath knows how to throw a great festival. From 11 a.m.–3 p.m., enjoy live tunes, homemade goods for sale, food trucks, family-friendly crafts, a corn maze, bounce houses, and more—all while supporting the Children's Speech & Reading Center. Town of Timnath
3. Estes Park Highlights (early to mid-September)
  • Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival (Estes Park, Sept 5–7): Bagpipes, Celtic dance, jousting. There is an entrance fee- Adults $40, Kids $25. Visit Estes Park
  • Estes Valley Autumn Gold Festival (Estes Park, Sept 20–21): Come and see Estes in its peak of Color! Beer, brats, raffles, live bands, & family games. Estes Park Autumn Gold
4. Fritzler Farm Park Fall Fest (Opens Sept 14, La Salle)
A full-on fall wonderland with corn mazes, pumpkin patches, barrel-train rides, pedal go-karts, pumpkin cannons, petting zoo—plus a special Oktoberfest night on Sept 27 and fireworks on Sept 27 & Oct 4. Fritzler Farm Park

If you're into some fitness opportunities, here are a few ideas for some Fall Races going on in September...

  • Black Squirrel Trail Half Marathon – September 6, 2025 (Lory State Park, Bellvue)
    • A scenic yet challenging trail race with about 2,000 ft of elevation change over 13.5 miles. Includes a relaxed kids’ 1-mile option, pancake breakfast, and amazing views of Horsetooth Reservoir and the Rockies. Gnar Runners
  • Fall Equinox Marathon, Half Marathon & 5 Mile – September 14, 2025 (Bellvue/Fort Collins area)
  • Liberty-2-Liberty 5K – September 20, 2025 (Fort Collins)
    • Cool Race hosted by LCHS and runs along the Spring Creek and Poudre Trails in Fort Collins. Running in the USA
  • Rising Phoenix Festival & 5K – September 27, 2025 (Loveland)
    • A fun 5K paired with a festival at the Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch. Run and Festival it up all in one day!
  • Boulderthon - September 28th 2025 (Boulder)
    • Features a Half Marathon, 5K, Full Marathon, Kids Run, and more!

Well, I hope you enjoy the start to school and keep these ideas in your backpocket for all things FALL and HARVEST. Don't overdo the Pumpkin too early though, it'll get old quick..

Any that you'd add? Let me know!

Ashleigh
